Where they started

The problem

Frenchies R Us NY is Kevin D Briggs Jr's family French Bulldog breeding program in Schenectady, NY, selling to families across Albany, Troy, Saratoga Springs and the rest of the Capital Region, with delivery further out. Buyers want to see the studs and the puppies, know what health checks and DNA papers stand behind them, and understand how to reserve one.

The family also needed a way to take a holding deposit without waiting on a phone call.

What we did about it

What we built

Four phone screens of the Frenchies R Us NY Secure Your Pup page: the three steps (confirm availability, submit deposit, digital agreement), the Pay with PayPal button, the fine print on non-refundable deposits and the signed agreement, and the payment support box with phone, email and Instagram. Shown before any payment.

Reserving a puppy

A Secure Your Pup page lays it out in three steps: confirm the puppy is still available, send the holding deposit through PayPal, then get the agreement by email. The fine print is on the same page, including that deposits are non-refundable. Buyers who want Zelle, CashApp or a wire are told to call or email.

The Studs section on a laptop with Red Cafe, Babyface, Oscar Delakoi and Small Fries, and a phone showing the Puppy Hall of Fame heading and Fluffy, a blue and tan fluffy male.

The studs and the pups

All four studs are shown with their photo, coat and color. Below them a Puppy Hall of Fame shows six past pups from the program, so buyers can see what the lines produce.

Three phone screens of the health section: the Peace of Mind heading with the one year health guarantee, the vet check, shots and DNA verification cards, and the Royal Covenant list of the five things that come with every puppy.

What comes with every puppy

The health section spells out the papers before anyone asks. Every puppy comes with a one year congenital guarantee, a vet health certificate, microchip registration information, a feeding and care guide and lifetime breeder support. Exotic and new shade listings come with Animal Genetics DNA certificates.

Four phone screens: the Flight Nanny Service card, the Ground Transport and HQ Pickup cards, the No Cargo Ever panel, and the list of towns served from Schenectady to Manhattan.

Getting the puppy home

Delivery is explained three ways: a flight nanny with the puppy in the cabin, private ground transport, or pickup at their Capital Region home. The site says plainly that puppies never fly in cargo. An areas served list covers Schenectady, Saratoga Springs, Albany, Troy, the Hamptons and Manhattan.

Four phone screens: the Royal Standard homepage over its background video, the Life at the Headquarters video gallery, the Frenchies R Us Radio player opened on The Anthem, and the Join Priority Waitlist button.

Video, radio and the waitlist

The homepage opens on video and has a gallery of 14 short clips of the dogs at home. A small player in the corner plays the family's own songs. At the bottom a waitlist button opens an email for the next litter.
