Where they started

The problem

Frankie's sells New York style pizza by the slice from Marina Market in Cork, Ireland, and delivers by drone through Manna. People looking them up want four things fast: the menu and prices, the hours, how to find the stall, and how to order.

The shop also has its own merch and needed a way to sell it online that a busy pizza stall could leave alone.

What we did about it

What we built

The Frankie's Slice Shop homepage on a laptop and two phones: the Delivered by drone card with the Order on Manna button, and the Visit us, Hours, Ways to order and On Google rows. Live site.

Order, hours and directions up top

The Manna drone delivery button, the address, the hours and a Get directions link all sit on the first screen. Walk in, delivery and merch are laid out in one short list. On a phone the same cards stack in that order.

The Frankie's menu page on a laptop and two phones: Order on Manna button, New York slices from 5.50 euro, then the dips and drinks with their prices. Live site.

Every slice has a price

The full menu is one tap away, with the Order on Manna button at the top. Six New York slices, two dips and the drinks, each priced in euro. The menu is also marked up for Google, so search can read every item and price.

The Frankie's merch grid on the homepage on a laptop, the same grid on a phone, and the full-zip hoodie card on the merch page priced at 58.98 euro. Live site.

The store fills itself in

The merch store reads the products straight from the shop's Printify account. A new design added there shows up on the site with its photos, colours, sizes and price. Tees, hoodies and caps are on it now.

Buying the Speed Demon tee: black in medium picked on the product page, the tee in the cart at 19.50 euro, and the Stripe Checkout page before anything is entered. Live site, nothing paid.

Pick a size, pay on the site

Shoppers pick a colour and size and add it to the cart, which stays put if they leave and come back. Checkout is a secure Stripe page, priced in euro, with cards and wallets. Stripe collects the shipping address and phone number.

Five steps from payment to delivery: the Stripe Checkout page, Stripe confirming the payment to the site, the order going to Printify for production, printed tees, a hoodie and a cap shipping to Ireland, the UK and the US, and the order received message back on the site.

Every order runs itself

When the payment goes through, Stripe tells the site, and the site sends the order to Printify with the exact item, size and address. Printify prints it, ships it to Ireland, the UK or the US and emails the shopper tracking. The shop holds no stock and packs nothing.

The Frankie's About page on a laptop with photos of the stall, the sign and dough being stretched, the story on a phone, and the Find Us page with the address, hours and Order on Manna button. Live site.

The real Frankie

The About page tells the story behind the name: Francesco, known as Frankie, and Gaetano left Italy for America in the early 1900s and worked on the Brooklyn Bridge. The Find Us page covers the rest, with the email, address, hours and the Manna button.
